Luxe Catamaran Cruise to Dia Island with Greek Delights

I really enjoyed this tour and had an amazing time. The catamaran is new, luxurious, clean, and well-equipped with a beautiful design. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. I was especially impressed by the lunch onboard – the food was delicious. It’s great that they provide paddle boards and other gear to snorkel and swim around the bay. I would highly recommend this tour as it was one of the best activities during my holiday in Crete!

It was a fantastic day and experience. The skipper and the cook onboard were really great, very hospitable and friendly! The lunch they prepared for us was divine. We went to a beautiful beach/bay and did lots of snorkeling and swimming. They had fins, floaties, pool noodles and other floatation things to enjoy. I really enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend it.

Our family had an amazing time on a semi-private cruise to Dia Island! We enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear waters, relaxing on board with great hospitality and very delicious lunch! The experience was perfect for our family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day at sea. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable adventure!

Best boat day ever!! Highly recommended especially if you’re staying in the city. The island we sailed to was beautiful with the clearest water! We swam, snorkeled, paddle boarded, jumped off the boat, tanned, and enjoyed the amazing food. The crew was amazing and so kind. 100% must do in Crete! We had 3 boat days on our 2 week trip in the Greek islands, and this one was our favorite!

A truly unique experience! The staff/crew were welcoming and joyful. The catamaran was clean and kept in great working order. The trip out to the island of Dia was exciting! We arrived at a sheltered cove and had plenty of time in the water. Lunch was great and the staff/crew were very attentive. I would highly recommend booking a trip, you will have no regrets!

The team was super nice and fun. The tour itself is very chill, very easy for all kinds of profiles and the boat is comfortable and picturesque. We really enjoyed it and shoutout to the chef for the great food he prepared!

The other half of our group ended up canceling so we had a truly private experience. I cannot recommend this trip enough! It was a beautiful day filled with delicious homemade lunch and snacks. We spent the time in the water on the flamingo and paddleboard and even did some snorkeling. 5/5 stars!

Great experience! My wife and I booked a catamaran out of Heroklian port. The whole trip was about 5 hours and was so much fun. You spend about an hour sailing to Dia Island, 3 hours in your own private area and another hour sailing back. It’s all you can drink, although most people on our boat did not take full advantage however all I saw available was beer, wine and soft drinks. They serve you pastries on the sail out, and lunch and dessert while parked in the cove. We were secluded away from all the other sail boats and it was perfect. Plenty of equipment on board to keep you occupied in the water for three hours and plenty of space on the boat to lounge. We shared the boat with about 15 other people, mostly couples and one family. Everyone on the boat was respectful including the passengers. I imagine this boat was on the pricier side compared to others out there, however it was well worth it with the lunch you get and the boat takes you away from all the other groups so it is truly private. I can’t wait to come back and book another excursion with SeaExcursion!

Booked a tour to Dia Island, and it was a great experience. More than enough time to swim. They brought things like snorkels and paddle boards that you can use.

Drinks and food on board was excellent! On the morning tour we had a snack & a proper lunch.

Such a beautiful day cruise to Dia island. Worth the price tag for a very well kept and clean catamaran cruise, hosted by an excellent team, with a delicious lunch by the Chef. My family and I had an amazing boat excursion with Spiros and George! The food and service was incredible, they were both so friendly and personable and answered all the questions we had about the Island.

I have planned and participated in well over 200 excursions in my years of travel. This activity with Spiros in Heraklion far exceeded any excursion in which I have experienced. Beautiful catamaran. Amazing captain and chef. Delicious, really delicious, meal prepared onboard. Sailing to magnificent coves. Paddle boarding, snorkeling, floating in the famous pink flamingos! Wine, beer, hospitality! And dolphins…..did I mention the dolphins swimming alongside of us!!! Magical. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

THE BEST CRUISE! We ended up booking a private cruise for 9 people on one of the catamarans. The crew, were so nice and helpful throughout the entire day. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of!!☀️

The bow crew is fun, authentic, friendly and so intentional.
Their service teaches much further than just for the average and basic needs. They served us drinks and encouraged us to relax and have fun as they took care of everything else. On the way back they took the initiative to take pictures of us to send them to us right away.
After the boat ride we could sit with them another one and a half hours as we kept chatting with them. The captain even sang us a spontaneous song based on the things we shared with him from our past year! What a glorious day! So worth it!

I’ve long been eager to embark on a sailing trip from Heraklion port, and it was a delightful coincidence that my friends also shared my enthusiasm. I must say, I’m thoroughly pleased❤️! A perfect boat trip to the island! Long stay, plenty of good food. On the way back we’re already a little behind schedule, but they turned around and took their time to look for the dolphins someone spotted.

Incredible experience! Crete has so many wonderful things to offer but seeing Crete from the water was extraordinary! The crew was fantastic, very accommodating and helpful! The small coves around Dia island are breathtaking. The day of SUP and snorkeling was unforgettable!

Nice boat trip to Dia Island. Everything worked great. Great crew and the food was delicious.

We arrived at the port alone because we had rented a car. Despite the fact that we arrived earlier than everyone else, the welcoming staff and light breakfast treats with coffee were already waiting for us on the ship. We only had time to look around and take a few photos with the Heraklion tower in the port as a background when the rest of the guests arrived. It left quickly, without any delays. The weather was wonderful for a hot August day. On the way to Dia Island, the photo shoot of all family members continued. Captain Sergey suggested the best angles at different times and helped us take group photos, for which we bow to him deeply, because these are pleasant and unforgettable moments, which are captured for a lifetime! Upon arrival at the island, the clarity of the water was very surprising. By then we had all met the other passengers of the ship and had planned various activities on the water. We thought of scenarios for beautiful videos… and we started. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, photographing pink flamingos, jumping into the water in different shapes, a short walk along the island’s beach and inland, catching sea urchins (they amaze the kids), jumping from the pier into the water. We managed to do all this before lunch. Returning to the ship, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and abundance of the Mediterranean lunch. Given the slight intoxication, there was not much strength left to swim after lunch, and so many started to snort happily on the boat. Those who wanted to swim also took advantage of the time after lunch and everyone returned happy. We had a great time, we chose the morning cruise as it was quite hot during the day in late August for some of our group. But we will definitely come back for a sunset cruise with you! We had a great day at the beach. The food was great, there was breakfast, coffee, enough for drinks, lunch and finally a plate of fruit. The water in the lagoon was a very nice turquoise/blue color. We were able to swim there and even go out on a stand-up board. The people were very friendly, great service. We would do it again anytime.
